Type G - Door Operating Mechanism

The Miner Type "G" double-link door operating mechanism is specifically designed to provide safer, faster, more trouble-free unloading of dense materials, such as coal, rock, limestone, aggregate and ore, from open top hopper cars. With locks on each door, the system allows a single person to efficiently operate the doors from either side of the car.
